By the way, we don’t design diners.
e-Diner Design & Marketing, Inc. is a full service advertising firm with extensive New York City creative and corporate experience. We specialize in integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns (online and offline) for large and small businesses.
So why the e-Diner Name?
We get asked that a lot. Years ago, we were at our favorite diner wondering what to name our new business. We couldn't help but notice that the friendly waitress silently made sure our cups of coffee were always full. The diner’s menu offered an incredible variety of options. Customers were free to choose a snack, a full meal or breakfast (our personal favorite) at any time of day. The food was good and plentiful and the prices were reasonable. We were comfortable and satisfied.
Hey, this was exactly the way we wanted our customers to feel — comfortable and satisfied! So to the friendly and familiar word “diner,” we added “e” to indicate our expertise with Internet marketing.
On that day, e-Diner Design & Marketing was born.
In the Kitchen
Our principals are senior, highly experienced professionals with successful marketing and design careers prior to founding e-Diner Design. Here's a little about them:
Miriam O. Frawley – President
Before co-founding e-Diner, Miriam was VP of Operations at AGA Catalog Marketing and Design, the world's largest catalog advertising agency, with offices in New York and London. She was responsible for print, paper, page and photography production and the large in-house pre-press department. Prior to AGA, she was Director of Graphic Arts Purchasing at American Express working with the Catalog, Corporate Card and Special Projects divisions. There, she was a leader in the introduction of technologies, helped establish the Company's internet vision and created guidelines for all of American Express' advertising agencies.
Beginning her career as an illustrator, cartoonist and graphic artist, Miriam was an artistic influence in the corporate world and added needed structure and process to the creative realm. She’s a sought-after expert and frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Always fascinated by how technology can improve communication, Miriam considers herself “technologically literate” and swears she can make anyone feel comfortable with today’s wide array of marketing technology options.
Terrence Frawley – EVP, Creative Director
Terry is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Advertising Design. He began his career as a staff artist for Burdine’s department store in South Florida over twenty-five years ago. Since then, he has held creative staff and freelance positions at several New York City advertising agencies and corporations including CBS, Bozell Worldwide, E.F. Hutton, Grey Entertainment, HBO, Newsweek and J & R Music World. His exposure to diverse clients and projects allowed him to acquire significant expertise in problem solving, design, illustration, typography and retouching.
Terry is the creative soul of e-Diner Design. He believes in graphic design that works and text that you are actually inclined to read. He's a strong proponent of information design — where form follows function. Under his leadership, we create rich communication pieces that are both practical and beautiful.
A founding member of the New York InDesign Users Group, Terry enjoys using graphics software programs and is the resident Adobe expert. He keeps his artistic hand flexible in the physical world through his passion and hobby — oil painting. firstname.lastname@example.org
